Dead Pixels

I have had terrible luck with almost every small LCD I have had. I have had 7 DS (fats and lites) and 2 new iPods because all of them had dead/broken pixels. I had to send in my iPods Ds's because of them (think+10 dead pixels ALL OF THEM). my iMac G5 had a dead pixel too but I fixed that by poking it.

This I cannot poke, my 2nd iPod classic, my first one had a bad click wheel (I mean BAD. I found a video that flashes RGB, and looped it.

how long does it take to fix a broken pixel this way?
it's been going for about 3 hours now.

These videos do not always work, and only work on "stuck" pixels which still have a colour - if that is the case, it can take anywhere from a couple of seconds to a couple of hours.

I've never had success with those videos.
