First Post...little help ?
I just installed a Seagate Momentus 120GB 5400rpm drive into my 1GHz TiBook. 'Upgraded' from my good old Hitachi Travelstar 60GB 7200rpm... Storage upgrade but Speed Downgrade unfortunately but the price for Hitachi Travelstar 100GB or 120Gb 7200rpm is getting crazy and they are also getting rarer to find new.
After transferring all the data from my old drive and during the Tiger Install ; Apps including : System Preferences , Internet Connect , iCal , iSync , Preview , Calculator , Font Book , iChat , Image Capture , Stickies appear in Finder and the Dock as Generic App Symbols only
(ie no logo for specific App...iSync,Preview logos etc).
These apps also refuse to launch now.
Can anyone suggest what i can do without having to do a fresh Tiger Install , i've already wasted a full day on this.
