DOH! I doan remember what that was, we talk and talk in IRC and in Iron Sheep I talked about here and cleaning up spam. LOL

Try to refresh my memory here...

Yes, what is this iron sheep nonsense? :)

Iron Sheep is/was a small kinda secret forum that was started by As The Apple Turns (AtAT) forum refugees. It's kinda hard to explain but I'll resume it this way: it was a wonderful forum to hang out then a few very right-wing rednecks joined and one of them bought the forum and things went downhill and very ugly after that. So they fled and formed Iron Sheep while they waited for other forum lives I guess. Iron Sheep was also mostly to play games a couple of them are programmers and they wrote some games that were played online, I think.

I joined the AtAT forum after they had left and the nutjobs were still running the place so I didn't stick around much. Let me just say that I am proud to be French speaking and when I went there it was during the glorious Freedom Fries era. So it didn't work out at all. *Smirk*

So a couple of those refugees still lurked (a couple still were members there as well but I didn't know this at all at the time), saw in which situation I was in trying to reason with idiots, defend myself and then leave and one of them contacted me via a PM inviting me to Iron Sheep so I went there.

Iron Sheep never was for me a serious hang out place. I went there to laugh and have fun but since the small amount of members there were very good in fixing their Macs, there wasn't anyone to help much there.

Yeah we're supposed to get in the 30s C today but with lots of humidity and that makes it very hard to bear... One summer, we had three weeks non-stop of high temps with added humidity factor, not a trace of wind, it was like if it was in the 40s C topping off on a couple of days at over 46 C. Now that was sizzling hot.

Well to be honest, I appreciate (no, I don't like winter) when it snows, much more so than when there's freezing rain or when it snows the next day it rains. That's what we've been getting this past decade or a little bit more.

Used to have crosscountry skies, you could crosscountry ski in the parks here in winter which made winter bearable. Now the weather is so screwy... I sold my skis. You have to go outside of the city and drive for a couple of hours to get some real crosscountry skiing weather and even then it's not even guaranteed it won't be raining there too nowadays...

It was 99 Degrees here in Central California! Give me some of that Global Cooling!!!

I drive and from work daily about 35 minutes each way and average about 6 miles per gallon I think. Its hard to convert 11 letres per 10 kilometres to mile per gallon.
