MB + MBP case redesign
I have heard this is happening, and I also have heard its not. Has anyone got some info on this nasty little rumor going around? I am overdue for a MBP, and I have my time when Im getting one, but if it comes down to a week or two, I sure would like to be able to consider my options.

There's been quite a bit of rumblings about this in the rumor community, but as with most things Apple, it will come when it's good and ready :D
As I always say, buy the machine you need when you need it, and it will continue to serve those needs long after an updated model is released. If you are always waiting for the next big thing in technology, you'll be waiting forever.

I think it and the G5 are way overdue.

I heard the new MB will be aluminum with the same type of display as the MBP. If true, the upgraded display is enough for me to buy a new one!

Personally, were it me I'd be comfortable buying the current generation equipment. (Re: Hardware has been well debugged by now.) Bleeding edge isn't always my favorite way to go.

I agree, but I sure like that brighter screen!
