Air Jordan 2, Jordan 2, Jordan Retro 2
The Air Jordan 2 model was designed by Bruce Kilgore, and was released during Jordan's third year in NBA. The Air Jordan 2 featured Italian leather, its design was inspired from a 19th century Italian women's boot, the Air Jordans 2 showed a great innovative design just like the Air Jordans 1. The low-tops of Jordan Retro 2 were very popular, and were far from the ordinary basketball shoes. And in the same year, MJ averaged 37.1 points per game in 86-87 NBA season. He became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to score more than 3,000 points in a season. The Air Jordan 2 was the only series from the Air Jordans line to not originally be released in a black colorway placement. The Air Jordan 2 was also the first Nike sneaker series to not feature the swoosh logo. The Air Jordan 2 was released in the 86-87 NBA season. It is Jordans 3rd year in NBA, he wore the Air Jordans 1 for his first two years.
