My favorite purchase of the 2007 has to be our iMac. I'm a long time Windows bigot and so this was a complete paradigm shift for me. I've now gone from using a PC as a tool, to actually enjoying my computing experience. I could go on and on about how much I love it, but I'll spare you the diatribe. Let's just say once you go Mac, you never go back. Most importantly, I am a husband and father. When I'm not blogging about Mac stuff I work in IT for a large company in the Natural Resources industry. I'm currently on an expat gig down in Chile.

I was a former PC lover, user and beginning programmer. Switched to Mac in June of 2008 after most of the people in the tech community I follow love macs. I gave it a try and you know what they say "Once you go mac you'll never go back." Since switching I have bought (1) 24" iMac for home, (2) macbook pro's 17" and 15" for home and (1) 24" iMac for work.
