ix.Mac.MarketingName???

Cabel Sesser, Panic developer, made a very interesting discovery in the iTunes App Store this week. Within the hardware requirement for several new applications presented on the App Store, there is a placeholder displaying the name of a product dubbed “ix.Mac.MarketingName”.

Panic’s new application entitled “Prompt” [||!prliignore1||] also displays the product name in question. Prompt being a universal application is not the only application unique with this. In fact, other universal apps within the App Store catalog. Obviously, this is just a mere glitch, but some have collaborated that this could potential be a big clue into an unknown device that is on the brink of debut.
